Andri was born in Ukraine and initiated his vocal studies at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School. Under the guidance of Eda Zahharova, he continued his vocal training privately and also studied in the vocal class of Prof. Mati Palm at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
He furthered his studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Milan Conservatory, where he joined the vocal class of Prof. Christina Rubin. Andri has been an active participant in numerous international competitions, garnering awards and prizes. Furthermore, he has enriched his musical education by attending masterclasses conducted by distinguished figures such as Giacomo Aragall and receiving private lessons from the legendary tenor Gianfranco Cecchele.
Andri has showcased his talent in several notable productions. He performed the lead role in G. Raffa’s opera “Gitana,” premiered in Italy at the Teatro Drapia in Tropea and Teatro Lirico Cilea in Reggio di Calabria. He also portrayed Don Jose in Bizet’s opera “Carmen” in Bologna, Italy. Further, he contributed to Nino Rota’s opera “Napoli Milionaria” at Teatro Goldoni di Livorno, Teatro di Pisa, and Teatro di Lucca. In Respighi’s opera “La bella dormente nel bosco,” he took on the role of Il Principe.
His versatile repertoire encompasses roles such as Don Jose (Bizet, Carmen), Lenski (Tchaikovsky, Eugene Onegin), Alfredo (Verdi, La Traviata), Pinkerton (Puccini, Madama Butterfly), Nemorino (Donizetti, L’elisir d’amore), and Riccardo (Verdi, Un ballo in maschera).
